0911 Lot29 - Valente

November 2009 Auction
Bay gelding, 16.1hh, 06/12/03
Vivaldi x Harvest Genevieve
On account of Pamela Maine

Valente is a handsome gelding that has been in training with Heath Ryan for the past three months. He is by Vivaldi, a stallion successfully campaigned by Grand Prix rider Blas Lago. Vivaldi’s sire, Valuta, was the first warmblood stallion in Australia to be selected to compete at Olympic level (Seoul 1988). Valente’s dam sire is Genghis Khan, a stallion sold to
Japan as a Grand Prix showumper and the progeny of Grannus, sire of seven Olmpic horses and more than 60 licensed stallions. As expected, from Valente’s exceptional bloodlines, he is showing signs of talent for dressage, showjumping or eventing with three sof and elastic paces and
a sharp jumping technique.
